Dear Friend,

When we lose someone in life such a family member, husband, wife, child, relative, or a beloved pet, it hurts both mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Each of us grieves differently and that’s okay. Grieving is a normal process after we experienced the loss of a loved one. How we deal with it is another thought in itself.

There are many ways to handle grief. You can implement certain strategies to help you transition through the moments of turmoil.

For example, engage in a few routines when you’re not feeling yourself and see which one helps you at best.

Here are 3 methods to help you while grieving:

1) Write your feelings down on a piece of paper.

2) Talk to someone you feel comfortable speaking with.

3) Read a positive book.

When you write your feelings down on paper, you can physically see what you’re experiencing. It helps to make it easier when you’re face to face with your inner turmoil.

Being able to speak with someone you trust allows you to open up and vent your feelings. This helps remove the negativity from within you so that you feel better in your state of mind, emotion, and spirit.

Reading a positive book can help shift the energy waves within your psychological process of thought when grief takes over.

Again, it’s okay to grieve; you just don’t want it to grow like an uncontrollable vine of erratic emotions and have you caught in a tangled web.

This will only deepen the grief where suppression and depression lurk its way into your conscious field – which you want to avoid as best as you can.

Grief can bring you to places of despair. It was at one point in life where sadness and depression had a tight finger grip around my neck.

By using key exercises to help your mind cope with the grieving process, it helps prevent your mind into slipping into a state of dark depression. It’s what we do with our time in the moment we feel pain or deeply hurt from the emotional aftermath that makes the most difference.

We must learn from our grief and know that its purpose is to allow us to accept our loss and hope it builds strength within our mind and heart.

Through tough times and emotional pain comes emotional strength. It’s not easy going through the grief process and time in of itself doesn’t heal or seal the wounds.

It’s the acceptance within yourself and the forgiveness you have towards and others which helps the healing process. You will still have memories and sad thoughts, but it’s all how you manage the thoughts within your mind that allows you to replace grief with acceptance.

Keep your mind occupied with positive people, positive thoughts, positive things to do, and surround yourself with an abundance of love. Love is the best healing element.
