I Found a Hungry Young Bigfoot Lost in the Woods — Then The Incredible Happened – Sasquatch Story

You’re going to think I’ve lost my mind. Honestly, I thought the same thing for days after it happened.

But I can’t keep it to myself anymore—because what I saw in the Oregon wilderness changed everything I thought I knew about what’s really out there in our forests.

Three years ago, I set out on a solo camping trip deep in the Cascade Range, about forty miles northeast of Bend. Remote country.

The kind of place where you can hike for days and never see another human being. That was the point—I needed solitude.

After my divorce, I craved silence, space, and the raw comfort of nature. Just me, my tent, and a week’s worth of supplies.

The first couple of nights were perfect. Clear skies. The clean, pine-heavy air. The crackle of my fire under a sky crowded with stars.

I felt like the last person alive, tucked in a cathedral of Douglas firs older than memory itself. But on the third night, everything changed.

I woke around midnight to a sound that froze me in place. Crying. Not animal sounds. Not the shrill screech of an owl or the eerie bark of a fox. This was different. Fragile. Heartbreaking.

It sounded exactly like a child—lost, alone, terrified—wandering somewhere out in the trees.

The sobbing drifted in waves, sometimes closer, sometimes farther, as if whoever it was had no direction.

I sat upright in my sleeping bag, pulse hammering, every instinct torn between fear and responsibility.

My rational brain tried to dismiss it—wind, maybe, or some animal call I didn’t know—but deep down, I couldn’t shake the truth.

This was human. Or at least, it sounded human.

And the next morning, when I followed the sound’s direction, what I found nearly made me drop my camera…
