Dear Entrepreneur,
Do you have a difficult time staying focused or concentrating on one single task?
With all the distractions between social media, cluttered thoughts in the mind and things to do every day, it’s obvious when we sit down to get something done; the focus just isn’t there.
In order for you to develop a mindset of zero-point focus, you must be in a state of consciousness awareness. Being aware that you’re not focused is the first step. Before we get into maintaining a steadfast focus, let’s define zero-point focus.
Zero-point focus is a level of concentration that allows you to get one single task accomplished without getting sidetracked.
It involves 15 minutes of meditation (or however much time you need to get your mind balanced), and to carry that immense level of energy with you towards the task you need to get done. For example, when you’re writing a book and you know you must write three pages per day, but you think of other stuff to do, and you find yourself procrastinating.
An ideal solution is to think of what your greatest reason or intention is along with your goal, as to why you want to write a book. Now, if you’re objective is to help people learn from your experiences, then you want that to be your motivating factor.
Think to yourself, when the pages are written each day, you’re that much closer to sharing your story with the world. It also keeps you balanced and aligned within yourself because you have a purpose to be fulfilled. In your mind, you know that if the book does not get done, people cannot be helped or guided as a result.
With that being said; use the thought process of being there for other people so you don’t get distracted by irrelevant circumstances that do not line up with developing a zero-point focus. It’s a mindset. Your mind is the determining factor as to what you get done in a prioritized order.
Set the final result as your bullseye to get your goals achieved. It may involve shutting off your phone, turning off the television, telling time wasters that you’re not available to talk on the phone, or leaving your dirty laundry for the evening. Create a dedicated schedule that you can discipline your mind to and allocate a few hours per day to each task needing your attention.
Remember, distractions can lead to destruction. At the same time, being free from your distractions can lead you to construction. Look at the value of what it is you want to implement greatness upon. Your peak level of focus is how high caliber people succeed in life.
Develop a daily routine that consists of reading books on being focused, watch videos in your study time, and find different methods that will help you increase the ability of your mindset.
It can help you become the elite individual you have dreamed to be. Through thought creation and physical manifestation, you can obtain a zero-point mindset of focus.
