Re: About Mind Games or Battling The Monkey Mind

Dear Entrepreneur,
Have you ever noticed just how often the mind seems to take over and have you wandering all over the place thinking about this, that and the other, without your actually being aware of it happening, or even how you ended up meandering along this conglomerated pathway of thoughts?
Well, THAT is the POWER of the “Monkey Mind” – Always here, there, and everywhere.
It is a dangerous situation when the mind rambles away on its own without our AWARENESS to keep it in check. Unfortunately this rambling is an indication of who is in control over ones life. We may think it´s ourselves but it is not our True Self which should be holding the reins at this point. It is the personality/ego aspect of our Being, or what I like to refer to as “The Servant”.
Actually, it is really a good idea to consider ones mind as a “servant”. By doing this it will always confirm for us that our awareness, our Higher Self/Consciousness is vibrantly present in our daily life and happily taking charge. When our Higher Self is running the show, life becomes so much easier, so much more pleasant, because we are then in the presence of a Divine Energy and guidance.
It would be wise to bear in mind the two aspects of our thinking. Intellect is a human trait and therefore functions under the influence of the ego. Intelligence is a different vibe and is a direct connection to guidance from our Higher Self-Consciousness. So always remember that it is ourselves alone who are responsible for giving power to the “Monkey Mind”, and this will invariably happen when the ego/personality feels challenged by our higher awareness and guidance from Source.
Perhaps now one will better understand how imperative it is to keep constantly tuned in to our Divine Source within, so that through the magical heart energy of LOVE existing therein, we will always make the right decision.
Namastè.
With Love,
