Midge is the owner of Miss Midgies Preschool since ‘2000. Her preschool, located in West Babylon, NY, has over 110 families attending each year. Her passion to help children with anxiety grew after her own son showed signs of separation anxiety. In April 2013 THE MISSING MOMMY CURE was published and released winning awards, receiving great reviews and shown on zoobean.com and FOX5NewsDC, Fox 5NY and Push Pause Channel 1.
She was interviewed by Ernie Anastis, TV Legend, on FOX5NY in October 2014 for her expert advice in children with anxiety as well as her 15 years of experience as an educator. She is currently helping people through co-hosting a radio show spreading positivity and helping with mental illness. She has also been asked to do promo’s for local news stations, casting calls for commercials such as Maxwell House Coffee, and interviews!
Midge is now trying to help spread the word of simple techniques to help children release anxiety and fear while living a positive, happy life! She has had two very successful book signing events right in here in her hometown area on Long Island. However, she is spreading her wings and her next book signing will take place in Mystic, CT. Her son attends A school for Navy submarine school just outside of Mystic and looks forward to having him visit her book signing soon!
