Two sure-fire ways to dismantle a negative thought:
#1: Kindness.
#2: Silence.
Dealing with negative thoughts is not always easy. When emotions get in your way it can make it difficult at times. The key to applying the above two methods require a level of self-mastery.
Your emotions can either make you or break you. Be the emotion that releases good energy. Work on it and be the intention as you see it and feel it to be.
Demonstrate acts of kindness and know when to be silent as opposed to being heard. It’s not about getting the last word. It’s about self-control and controlling your own thoughts while you’re in the moment.
